AKC Champion Lemko's Starlight for Anden, CD, RE, IT, CGC, HIC

Sophie comes to us from Lemko Boxer of Massachusetts.  We are very grateful to Jessica Kozel for letting Sophie come to us in California.  Our interest in Lemko Boxer began several years back when Jessica introduced UK Boxers into her kennel.  With the breeding of her beautiful girl Lemko’s Rising Sun to Ch. Twinkle Star she introduced the European Boxer.  Sophie is a result of this winning combination that pairs some of the top pedigree in Europe and in the USA

 Sophie’s sire Maffy is an outstanding Boxer with exceptional form, temperament and health.  He is a Champion in several European countries and has won multiple Best of Breed.  He won Best of Breed in the World Dog Show 2008.  We are truly honored to have one of his pups here with us at Anden Boxers.

Sophie’s dam Amy is from an established line of Champions and is Jessica’s first homebred Champion.  She is a delightful Boxer that has proved herself in the show ring and in the whelping box.  She has excellent form and effortlessly excels in movement.  She has a great temperament…friendly, outgoing and charming.  

We are extremely pleased with Sophie.  She is a treasure that captured our hearts from the first moment we looked into her beautiful eyes.  Life with her is wonderful.  We are very excited about her promising future in the Breed ring and in the Performance rings.  Sophie is already proving herself to be a smart, athletic puppy with a zest for life.  She has an amazing temperament.  She is a confident, outgoing, fun loving little girl that is friendly with everyone.  She has excellent form with strong bone and excels in her movement. 

Sophie has far exceeded our expectations!  She is the first AKC Champion for Anden Boxers!  Achieving her Championship Title with multiple BOB and BOS wins along the way!  On July 7, 2011 she finished her championship with a 5-point major!  Our Champion Sophie also continues the Anden tradition of performance and obedience work earning her CD and RE Titles and her AKC Herding Instinct Certification.

In 2012 Sophie whelped her first and only litter.  We are very proud to share that Sophie produced two Grand Champions from that litter!   Her pups are also proving themselves in performance and obedience!
